Disney star Demi Lovato got a day off to spend at least a few hours with her family on Christmas, with staff at her treatment center allowing her to go off the premises. TMZ has photos and video of her outing.
As fans must know, the young singer and actress is now seeking help with unspecified emotional problems she’s been dealing with since she was a teen.
Her rep insists these have nothing to do with an alleged drug addiction that all the tabloids are raging about, but reports continue to come detailing
her use of heavy drugs like cocaine.
On the bright side, as several celebrity bloggers also note, while her issues remain unknown, it’s good to see she’s working on them and getting better, which would also explain her recent outing.
“Demi Lovato only had a few hours to leave her treatment center to spend time with her family on Xmas – but she spent the time hanging at a place where you’re not supposed to talk... a movie theater!” TMZ writes.
“Demi – sporting dark nail polish, dark lipstick, dark clothing and a leopard-print jacket – hit a place in Illinois called Hollywood Blvd – a movie theater with ‘full to-your-seat food and beverage service’,” says the same report.
Photos indicate Demi was accompanied there by at least 4 other people. Unfortunately, she wasn’t allowed any time to bond over Christmas presents by the tree, because she had to go back to the treatment facility.
“As we previously reported, Demi’s treatment center granted the singer an Xmas Day pass to hang out with her kinfolk outside the facility – but she was required to return to the center a few hours later,” TMZ also says.
Since she was admitted to the center at the beginning of last month, her rep was repeatedly forced to deny reports of drug use, the existence of a very private and embarrassing home-made tape, the existence of
leaked personal photos and about
everything else the tabloids could thing of of writing about her.
