14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have been very good friends for years but it seems that the former has grown tired of all the nonsense that the latter carries as baggage these days. In a very unceremonious fashion, Demi has unfollowed Selena on social media.
This in itself wouldn’t be such a huge thing (though, with celebrities, it usually is) if it weren’t for the photo above. According to CB, Demi posted it right after she unfollowed Selena but she deleted it quickly – not quickly enough, though.
Apparently, she’s tired of all of Selena’s BS and she’s walking away. Well, she’s actually swimming away, but you get the idea. Consensus online is that she can only be talking about all the Justin Bieber drama because, not too long ago, he confirmed on his Twitter feed that he was back with Selena.
Countless rumors say that Justin Bieber has gone completely off the rails because he’s always surrounded by “yes” people who would do his bidding without flinching only because he’s The Bieber and obviously pays their bills.
This includes drugs and alcohol and womanizing whenever the chance presents itself – and with Justin still being very popular with the fans, the chance is always there, basically. Partying so much is ruining his life but it’s also ruining that of whoever happens to be in his entourage and doesn’t know better – like Selena.
There were reports that she checked into a rehab facility some time ago because she felt she was drinking and smoking too much weed. This was about the time she and Justin broke up for what felt like the last time, but they eventually got back together again.
Selena can’t seem to be able to quit Justin which, if we’re to believe reports online, has already cost her one very good friend, in the person of Taylor Swift. She exposed to Selena in detail all the reasons she would be better off without Justin and then gave her an ultimatum: it was either Justin or her.
Selena chose Justin.
Presumably that scenario played out all over again, this time with Demi. She must have told Selena time and time again that Justin was bad news for her and that she would stand to gain if she broke up with him, but she wouldn’t listen. And Demi isn’t the kind of girl that takes this kind of stuff.
Of course, it could be just a coincidence that Demi posted this photo just after unfollowing Selena. From experience and from Selena’s own online behavior, we’re guessing it’s not. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below.
