The team behind the popular Deluge open source BitTorrent project, has announced a few hours ago the immediate availability for download of the highly-anticipated Deluge 1.3.0 release, after many months of hard work to bring you the latest features into a powerful torrent downloader software.

Even if it's too early for official release notes, we can tell you that Deluge 1.3.0 brings some of those features you've been waiting for, and fixes most of those annoying bugs from previous releases.

Among some of the new highlights, we can mention max active seeding and downloading options added to scheduler, TorrentFileCompleted event, max piece size has been increased to 8 MiB, added AutoAdd plugin, implemented progress bars for folders, added Notifications plugin, full IE support, torrent status diffs are used in order to reduce RPC traffic, local blocklist support has been implemented, tracker_icons were rewritten, httpdownloader now supports gzip decoding, and many bugs fixed.

Deluge is a powerful and light BitTorrent client for UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Macintosh platforms. It features multiple user interfaces (GTK+, CLI and Web-based), and it uses the libtorrent library in it's backend. Deluge also has support for plugins. Among it's features we can mention:
