Dell recently launched a next generation performance gaming system designed for both gamers and multimedia enthusiasts - the Dimension XPS Generation 5 - across the EMEA zone - Europe Middle East and Africa.

The Dimension XPS Generation 5 is said to offer the latest technology, including one of the most advanced processors, chipsets and video solutions, according to the manufacturer's statement.

The new desktop developed by Dell seems to be the first system across the industry to support three 500 GB Serial ATA 2 hard drives, which can store hundreds of thousands of digital music files or photos, or hundreds of hours of video.

Dell guarantees for its desktop as it offers a host of high-end processors, including Intel, Dual-Core, ultra high end graphics and enhanced expansion and upgrade ability.

"We engineered the Dimension XPS Generation 5 to deliver the latest processors, graphics, and sound options for the ultimate gaming and multi-media experience," commented Peter Winkle, Dimension Product Manager, Dell UK.

"Adding to this, the innovative, stylish design, this is a system that offers the consumer one of the highest levels of expandability and configurability in one multimedia workstation designed specifically for the home user."

Dell also offers additional options, including the latest Intel Pentium D 8xx and Pentium 4 6xx processors, and an integrated 9-in-1 media card reader.
