Dell Venue Pro is yet another mobile phone in the United States which should receive the NoDo software update as soon as today, following the availability of this software for unlocked Windows Phone 7 devices starting with the last week.

In the United States, the Dell Venue Pro is available with support for T-Mobile's network, though it can be purchased directly from Dell.

Today, the smartphone becomes the first handset to receive the NoDo update on Magenta's airwaves, following the deployment of the software on HTC HD7 at the wireless carrier.

Specific info on what the software update would include for Dell Venue Pro did not emerge at the moment, but all of the enhancements Microsoft listed for the update should be there.

According to a recent tweet from Lionel Menchaca, Chief Blogger for Dell, the company plans to deliver an update of its won for the handset, one that would include even more fixes than NoDo.

Exact details on the matter are not available for the time being, but they should be unveiled in the not too far future, it seems.

In the meantime, we should note that the NoDo update is currently rolling-out with a nice range of enhancements, including Copy&paste capabilities, and performance improvements for applications and games.

For HTC HD7, T-Mobile announced that the update:

- Adds the ability to copy and paste text. - Stops unnecessary data connectivity and lowers data usage while using Yahoo! Mail. - Improved Marketplace search - While connected to Wi-Fi, customers will now see different background images in the Search screen.

Some other improvements would also be included into the mix, Microsoft unveiled last week.

While Dell is set to start the delivery of NoDo as of today, the update process should take longer. However, Dell is committed to update all handsets out there, and Venue Pro should wait for the company to notify them on its availability shortly.
