A new Windows Phone 7-based handset is now available for purchase in the United States via wireless carrier AT&T, namely Dell Venue Pro, a mobile phone released late last year with support for T-Mobile USA's network.

Dell and AT&T have just made the new smartphone available for purchase on the wireless carrier's network, but did not make an official announcement on the matter.

The new Dell Venue Pro is basically the same device as the one available for T-Mobile users, with the 3G radios support changed to fit AT&T's network.

Those who would like to purchase the device from this wireless carrier would find it available for $99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. Unlocked, the smartphone is available for $499.99.

The mobile phone comes with a large 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive, multi-touch display with Corning's high-quality, scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass, complemented by a portrait sliding QWERTY keyboard.

According to Dell, some of the main features it comes with would include: - With Office Mobile built in, you can operate on-the-go as seamlessly as you would at the office. - 5MP Camera with auto-focus and LED flash. - Take your gaming experience on the road with the smartphone that lets you play games on Xbox LIVE

With this device, users would enjoy a great experience when browsing the Internet, viewing photos and videos, as well as fast access to various importan aspects of their lives through  Windows Phone's customizable Live Tiles on the phone's homescreen.
