Dell has launched its latest set of Venue tablets, not so long ago. And during the Teen Choice Awards event last weekend, Dell took the opportunity to showcase its newest devices during a custom lounge within the Backstage Creations Teens Choice Retreat.

Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the gathering welcomed popular names in the industry like Jordin Sparks, Lea Michele, Sarah Hyland, Tyler Posey, Robbie Amell, Nolan Gould or Italia Ricci, says Broadway World.

Guests got to fiddle with Dell’s new tablet, and at the end of the day, they even got to take them home. Teen Choice Awards starlets enjoyed taking selfies or photographs and sharing them on social media.

The Dell Venue 8 Android tablet is included in the Back to School promotions, and the company hopes to show students that, if their favorite stars loved the Venue 7, they will too.

The new Venue 8 arrives with FHD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and relies on a 2.1GHz Intel Atom Z3480 CPU from the Merrifield family. The slate is fitted with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via micro SD card).

The tablet arrives with Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box, so it runs the latest Android has to offer.
