14 DAY TRIAL // Here’s something interesting, as everybody was fretting about Dell pulling the ActiveStyluses for the Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro tables from sale, some folks discovered something really neat.
It turns out you can use the Dell Venue 8 Pro’s port to charge and connect devices at the same time. There’s a threat over at TabletPCReview which details how supposedly any user of the Dell Venue Pro tablet can do so.
Note that to get this to work, you’ll be needing to use a whole lot of cables and a quick browsing through the topic will get you to see what I mean (there’s a bunch of photos inserted in there too).
Be advised that this solution is nothing you can use while on the go, but while in the comfort of your own home, it might serve you to charge your tablet via USB.
