Dell has been selling the Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro tablets with Windows out of the box ever since 2013. The models proved to be quite popular with consumers especially thanks to the embedded Wacom digitizers which added support for an optional digital pen.

Sure, the DirectStylus offered along for the ride by Dell had its fair share of issues, but the producing company managed to solve them at some point.

Now, the company is extending its Venue Pro tablet portfolio with a middle-ground model of the 10-inch variety.

Dell makes the Venue 10 Pro available for pick-up

The Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000 Series was unveiled not so long ago, as a tablet for the educational market, but you don’t have a student or a teacher to be able to pick one up.

Now the Windows-based tablet has been made available for purchase for $329 / €297 and up. Dell offers the Venue 10 Pro in several configurations, but they all have in common an Intel Atom Z3635F quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP/1.2MP camera combo plus a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365.

The base model will offer 1280 x 800 pixel resolution on the 10-inch display and 32GB of internal storage onboard.

Moving along, for $379 / €343, interested buyers will get the same specs plus a keyboard dock accessory. On the other hand, for the same amount of cash, you can opt for a tablet with a better resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and more storage (64GB).

Throw in the keyboard dock accessory and you’ll need to take out $429 / €388 out of your pocket.

Apart from what we’ve just detailed, the Dell Venue 10 Pro also comes equipped with a full-sized USB port, a micro HDMI port, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. You can pick up your favorite model from the official Dell website.

The Dell Venue 11 Pro is the only model from the lineup to offer Broadwell

At some point, it was rumored that the Venue 10 Pro would ship out with Intel’s Core M platform, but sadly this didn't turn out to be the case.

Luckily, those of you who still want a Broadwell tablet in your life have the opportunity to purchase the Venue 11 Pro which takes advantage of this particular chip architecture.
