As expected, Dell officially announced the upcoming availability of the Streak Pro smartphone in China. The device will be available via China Unicom possibly for a suggested retail price of $475 (360 EUR) outright.
The Streak Pro is the result of the collaboration between Dell and Baidu, the Chinese search giant. In this regard, the smartphone runs the Baidu-Yi platform exclusively developed by the Chinese company.
Obviously, the device comes pre-loaded with some of Baidu’s apps and services, such as the Ting music service.
Dell Streak Pro is equipped with a dual core 1.5 GHz processor manufactured by Qualcomm, and a Super AMOLED 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that boasts 540 x 960 pixels resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The phone was spotted yesterday at FCC with model number V04B, so there’s a high chance that a different variant of the phone will be released in the United States as well.
