TV are undisputedly the best option when it comes to watching movies or, well, TV shows. However, many people don't bother getting one because they don't bother getting cable or satellite TV in the first place.

That's why there is a whole business centered around multimedia-centric monitors, like the UltraSharp S2415H and S2715H that just got launched by Dell.

The former has a diagonal of 24 inches and a price of $259.99 / €198, while the latter measures 27 inches and sells for $488 / €372, more or less. They might not be up for sale outside of China yet.

Anyway, both monitors have a pair of speakers (3W on the 24-inch model, 9W on the other one), white LED backlighting (W-LED), contrast ratio of 1,000:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a glossy screen coating.

Also, the resolution is of 1920 x 1080 pixels, much to absolutely no surprise at all.

The newcomers use AH-IPS panels in case you were wondering, meaning that the viewing angles are as wide as they can be (178 degrees) without any loss of color sharpness when viewed from the side. The super-slim bezel only makes them look cooler. Finally, the S2715H has a dual-power USB 2.0 hub to set it apart from the other one.
