Round Rock, Texas-based Dell is planning to launch a number of new computer systems, as part of the company's growing line of Inspiron Mini netbooks, according to a recently leaked slide revealing the company's roadmap. In addition to a couple of updates to its 10-inch netbook, the company will also roll out a new Mini 11, featuring an 11-inch display that should become available sometime before the end of Q3. However, until the launch of Dell's first 11-inch netbook, the Mini 10 will provide customers with an impressive number of configuration options, some of which will soon be officially announced.

Thanks to a recent post on German-language website netbooks.de, we now know that Dell is planning to update its 10-inch Netbook by offering a number of new options, including a 250GB drive, Ubuntu operating system, Internal TV tuner, 6-cell battery and a 1.86GHz Intel Atom processor. All of these options are slated to become available on April 17. In addition, on May 20, the netbook will also provide a 1024 x 600 LCD panel, 2GB of RAM memory and a red coloring option.

Apparently, the same system will be updated again, later this year with Intel's new Pine Trail processors. Additional features will include optional GPS and 720p HD display. The Mini 1010 or Tiger, as mentioned in the leaked slides, will start at a price tag of just $349, which could easily go higher, depending on the number of features you will select for your configuration.

In addition to the Mini 1010, Dell will launch the Mini 1110 (Argos) ultraportable laptop, featuring an 11.6-inch HD display, 250GB HDD option, 2GB of memory and Windows Vista. According to the PC vendor, the new system should deliver “laptop-like performance” in a “very thin and light” package. Price-wise, this system should start at $499.
