It turns out that Dell might soon launch a new Windows RT tablet

As I’ve reported to you yesterday, Dell abandoned the XPS 10 tablet, making everyone out there believe that it’s no longer interested in Windows RT and it prefers to stick to the full-featured Windows 8.

It turns out that Dell isn’t willing to give up Windows RT so fast, as recently leaked information indicates that a new device running Microsoft’s tablet-oriented OS might be on its way to the market.

According to leaked information, Dell is now developing three different Windows tablets, one of which might be featuring an ARM Qualcomm CPU and 2GB of RAM. Windows RT would obviously power the device, even though nothing is official until now.

This is clearly good news for Microsoft, as the tech giant could remain all alone in the Windows RT market, as several other manufacturers have already decided to make the switch to the full version of Windows 8.
