Now include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint as well as T-Mobile

Dell has just announced that its Latitude line of business notebooks can now be ordered with embedded mobile broadband from T-Mobile in addition to the already available AT&T, Verizon and Sprint options.

According to Dell, this feature is available in the Latitude E6220, E6320, and E6420 laptop models that measure 12.5-, 13.3- and 14-inches respectively.

Despite the different sizes, all the notebooks feature a similar configuration are based on Intel’s second generation Core processors, also known as Sandy Bridge, which can be paired together with as much as 8GB of system memory.

In the standard Latitude configuration, graphics is handled by the Intel integrated Intel HD 3000 GPU, but when customizing the 14-inch Dell notebook, demanding users can also opt for Nvidia NVS 4200M discrete graphics with 512MB of dedicated memory and Optimus support.

The rest of the specs list includes a DVD burner (external in the E6220), WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, an optional GPS module, an integrated HD webcam as well as a SmartCard reader.

All these are packed inside a MIL-STD 810G tested Tri-Metal casing sporting a highly durable anodized brushed aluminum display back, alloy-wrapped corners and a tough powder-coated magnesium base.

Other protective features include a spill-resistant keyboard, a protective LCD seal and a 360-degree LCD bumper for added screen protection that should withstand the bumps and spills of everyday work.

The Latitude E6220 and E6320 come with a 1366x768 resolution panel with an anti-glare coating, while the E6420 can be configured to feature three different LED-backlit display options, one touting a 1600x900 resolution, while the other two are limited at 1366x768 (one with multi-touch capabilities).

Pricing for the Gobi 3000 HDPA-EVDO mini-card that is required to add T-Mobile broadband support is set at $125.00 (93.6 EUR).
