Companies launching business-oriented machines have always focused on one thing, proving secure platforms for the storing of highly sensitive information.

And Dell’s latest concoction definitely takes things to the highest of levels. The company has rolled out what’s being touted as the world’s most secure 2-in-1 laptop (yes, you can remove the keyboard) with a focus on “laptop,” the Latitude 13 7000.

The device comes with a spacious 13.3-inch display and is equipped with an ISO-certified backlit keyboard. What’s more, the machine can wake up from sleep almost immediately (via the Instant Go functionality), something that most professionals on the dead line will certainly appreciate greatly.

Moreover, the laptop can be paired with the Dell Mobile Office suite, which is a host of accessories designed especially to be used on the device. The producing company is also throwing some accessories in the form of a case, sleeve, power companion and universal dongle.

Dell says that the Latitude 7000 Series is 20% thinner than the previous models and will also offer an improved battery life thanks to the 4-cell battery that is now sustaining things onboard.

The Latitude 7000 series will be sold with a starting price of $1,199 / €927, but rates vary depending on what specs you choose to have on the inside. For the time being, Dell doesn't reveal the options available, but we’ll probably know more in the upcoming weeks. Availability is scheduled for the middle of October.
