Dell seems to have prepared more than just one mobile PC, regardless of whether or not it was unveiled at some point in the past, the most recent one being the Inspiron M5030, a laptop which uses AMD's Danube mobile platform.

Unveiled a few months ago, the AMD mobile platform for mobile computers seems to be gaining followers, with Dell unleashing not just one but two machines.

The first mobile computer based on this platform was unveiled by Dell just a short while ago and bears the name of Inspiron M501R.

Now, the same PC supplier has added the Inspiron M5030 model, which does not exactly match its sibling's performance but still features good multimedia capabilities.

For one, the machine's configuration is centered around the AMD Athlon II P320 central processing unit, which has a clock speed of 2.1 GHz.

Said processor is backed up by 4 GB of RAM and a hard disk drive of 320 GB or 500 GB, traits similar to the aforementioned M501R.

Another resemblance is the display, a High Definition (720p) LED TrueLife model which has the same screen size of 15.6 inches and a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

Furthermore, the product boasts a DVD writer, HD Audio 2.0, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi and a 6-Cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

Finally, as a more significant distinctive feature between the two notebooks, the M5030 comes with a Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card.

As for the operating system, the PC supplier went for the one and only Microsoft Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit.

Available in two base configurations and with starting prices of $529 or $599.99, the newcomer has been added to its maker's web shop and has a 1-year warranty.
