People hunting for deals may want to drop by this year's edition of the PC Show, where Dell, among many others, will show off its products.

PC Show will take place in Singapore between June 7 and June 10 (next month) and will be attended by Acer, Asus, Dell, Canon, Olympus, Samsung, Toshiba, Fujifilm, Microsoft, Western Digital, etc.

Dell is the company we are going to look at here, as there are two notebooks in its collection that could spark interest.

One of them is called Dell XPS 13 and, though it has a price of $1,647 / 1,307 Euro, it should be cheaper during the event.

It is an ultrabook with a 13.3-inch diagonal. The display is an HD WLED panel (1,366 x 768 pixels resolution).

Oddly enough, it is not an Ivy Bridge CPU that lies at the heart of the machine, but a Sandy Bridge chip: Core i7-2637M.

The base clock is 1.7 GHz, the Turbo Boost 2.0 speed is 2.8 GHz and the video prowess is provided by the Intel HD 3000 IGP (integrated graphics processor).

The rest of the specs are more or less common at this point: 4 GB RAM, an SSD (256 GB), wired and wireless networking, a 1.3 megapixel camera and the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit operating system.

The other mobile PC set to appear at the show is called Inspiron 14 and has a price of $704, or 560 Euro. Its HD WLED screen measures 14 inches and the CPU is Core i5-2450M (2.5 GHz / 3.10 GHz). Interestingly, there is a discrete graphics card involved as well: AMD Radeon HD 7450M (1 GB VRAM). Other specs include 500 GB HDD, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, USB 3.0/2.0, Ethernet (wired and Wi-Fi), etc.

As is the case with the XPS 13, Dell will strap a lower price on the notebook during the trade show.
