Quickly pulls image from pop-up assistant and apologizes

Dell must really be going through some tough times if it resorted to misleading images when making the “Help me Choose” pop-up assistant.

Granted, after being called out on it, Dell quickly removed the offending picture and apologized, saying that it was never its intention to mislead its buyers or cause confusion.

Unfortunately, no mater how you look at it, it's not actually all that plausible that a blurred image (left) just happened to be shown alongside a proper depiction of a monitor displaying the desktop.

That monitors can have a lower image quality than others comes without saying, but Dell actually posted the same monitor, implying that low-end graphics can't even render regular images properly.

Needless to say, this is untrue. Any GPU, integrated or otherwise, can display images with absolutely no difficulty or loss of quality.
