Round Rock, Texas-based Dell has just unveiled a new multi-touch desktop computer system as part of the company's Studio family of PCs. The new machine has just been released in Japan, but the manufacturer is expected to officially announce it for the worldwide market. Dubbed Studio One 19 PC, the new system from Dell comes as an all-in-one “entertainment PC” that will be offered in a variety of colors.

Despite not being alone in the increasing market for all-in-one computer systems, the new Studio One 19 from Dell will try to get your attention through its looks and overall design. It is powered by Intel's Core 2 Quad processors, combined with NVIDIA's GeForce 9400 graphics. In addition, users will also get 4GB of memory, a 750GB hard disk, 6 USB ports, an integrated 1.3MP webcam and even a Blu-ray player. With an 18.5-inch display that is capable of providing the end-user with a resolution of 1366 by 768, the system could be offered with either touch or non-touch options. As you will see in the pictures, Dell has apparently even used a slot load optical drive.

Unlike your regular all-in-one iMacs from Apple, the new Studio One 19 from Dell is somewhat chubby, as you will see in the pictures. Price-wise, this thing is expected to hit the streets for ¥149,800 or US$1,538. Unfortunately we have no details on availability for the time being, but Dell is expected to officially announce the product worldwide, by which time we should know more about system specifications, various configurations and availability date.

With the new system, Dell has further expanded its relatively new family of Studio computer systems. The Studio One 19 comes as a somewhat expected addition to the company's line of portable and desktop Studio products.
