Panasonic will unveil its latest interchangeable lens camera, the GH 4K, on February 7, but many aspects of the upcoming model are yet to be revealed by the Nippon electronics maker.

Recently, DEFY Products has posted a photo on its Facebook page that shows the Panasonic GH 4K mounted on a DEFY G2 gimbal. In the same photo you can also see actor Kurt Russell, which could mean that the pic was taken on the set of a commercial for the upcoming Panasonic camera.

For the moment, the rumor mill hints at a few possible specs for the Panasonic GH 4K. The camera will feature a new and improved 16MP sensor designed to capture 4K footage rather than stills, which means that the photo quality will remain pretty much the same as with the GH3.

Moreover, the GH 4K comes with a 2.36M-dot OLED EVF, 1080p video capture at 120 frames per second, attachable XLR adapter to allow the usage of professional external microphones, and focus peaking.

According to the latest rumors, the camera will be priced somewhere around $2,000 / €1,467, but no information has been disclosed about its ship date.
