This is a hybrid tower-defense-siege map where the teams compete to be the first to destroy their creeps. Monsters that leak are shared between the winning creeps and can be used to attack!

Possesion Tower Defense has two difficulty modes: one in which the difficulty is fixed for all the teams, voted upon at the start of the game, and one where the difficulty is more flexible, and allows the players to adjust their team's difficulty between rounds.
Both modes have the same basic gameplay, although difficulties can change the number of units spawned and, in the upper levels, the type of units spawned. In all these modes, players can still choose from a number of 14 different builders (each one with its particular characteristics).

Each team is allowed 40 leaks. After 20 leaks, one Castle is destroyed (randomly) for the kingdom that leaked. If a Castle gets destroyed through player assault, your kingdom is left with 20 fewer leaks, so be sure to guard your Castles very carefully. If your team allows 40 leaks or both Castles are destroyed, it is eliminated.

To capture leaked monsters, your team must kill all of your spawns for a round before the leak occurs. Teams that have all their spawns killed are randomly assigned any further leaks. Captured leaks will help you defend yourself against creep waves or you can use them to attack the enemy castles!

The creeps will appear at the corners and work their way towards the center of the map, while touching each of the diamond-shaped stones along the way. They will not attack anything, unless the path is blocked. There are also air units that will appear every 5th round and that will follow the same path (you will not be able to block their path).

Possession TD can be played by a single player alone, a single team (two players), or by any number of teams from one to four (one-eight players) head-to-head. So, if you're looking for a non-traditional tower-defense map that combines elements of traditional tower-defense maps with those of siege maps, then you've reached the right place!
