Destroy the necronomicon and save the world!

The dark lord Abyssion is preparing to be reborn as the ultimate demon by using the power of the necronomicon. If this happens, the world is surely doomed to eternal damnation. You must reclaim the land that has been tainted by the power of the necronomicon and then defeat Abyssion.

In Abyssal Despair your goal is to establish a strong core base and then mount an offensive on Abyssion and the Necronomicon. This is difficult because waves of enemies are constantly storming your defensive line, and if you cannot kill Abyssion in time he will transform into a super being and attack your wall himself.

[admark=1]Defeating Abyssion isn't the end of it though...even after he has fallen, the Necronomicon itself must be destroyed before it destroys you. To break the barrier around the necronomicon and Abyssion, you must retake at least 50% of the map, you do this by building holy glyphs, which also clear an area of blight for you to expand on. The game scales offensive monster levels, hp values everything based on difficulty and its hard enough to win on easy.

When you first start out, you'll notice that almost all of the map is covered in blight. To start out you will have to build a Holy Glyph, then a castle. Your Head Priest can harvest both wood and gold. Your Holy Glyphs are very important and the AI targets them first above anything else, so defend them as best as you can. Undefended glyphs will fall and will expose the area around them to the blight again. The blight does severe damage to anything in it, except your High Priest, your hero and any Holy Symbols you might have.

To win the game you must destroy the necronomicon. At the beginning of the game, the necronomicon is at the center of the map and is invulnerable. It will become vulnerable only after Abyssion dies. After the first 2 minutes are up, the game starts and the monsters will spawn in the center of the map If you can build 50 Holy Glyphs over different areas of the map and reclaim 50% of Abyssion's territory, he will became vulnerable. At this point just send a hero to the center of the map to kill him. Once killed, the necronomicon becomes vulnerable. If the Ritual timer hits 0 before you can do so, then Abyssion changes into a powerful demon. Just kill him and the necronomicon becomes vulnerable.

If you are looking for a challenging game involving a lot of skill, a lot of units and a lot of fun, give Abyssal Despair a go.
