Deezer plan to expand to as many countries as possible has mostly come to fruition, the music streaming service is available in many parts of the world and more countries are added. Now, Deezer seems to be thinking about expanding to more devices. The service is mainly serviced by the website. That has the advantage of working everywhere, everywhere you have Flash at least. This means that, on the desktop, it can reach more users than Spotify for example.
There are also mobile apps for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry. Beyond that, things aren't so great. Spotify has followed Netflix's approach and is available on quite a few TVs, media centers and everything in between.
Deezer is only now partnering with some TV makers to get the service working on their devices. It's starting with Samsung, LG and Toshiba all of which will get native apps for their smart TVs.
Deezer will work on all Samsung smart TVs from 2011 onward, though only in Europe, on LG smart TVs since 2011 and Toshiba smart TVs since 2011 for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific regions. All Toshiba 2013 smart TVs sold anywhere will work.
