A video of a cyclist from Virginia getting run down by a deer has caught my eye today, and I thought I'd share it with you.

This clip was posted just five days ago, and it has rounded up about one million views on YouTube, definitely making it into the “viral” category.

The entire video is only 50 seconds long, which I guess is enough time for a deer to knock off an experienced cyclist off his bike, during a competition.

"The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky plays in the background, a perfect soundtrack for the animal to elegantly steal the show and become the star of the video.

NBC News details that the incident occurred about 15 minutes into the race, but the biker got off the bike and finished the 3-hour event.
