It seems like this is the week of awesome and/or weird cases, because quite a few of them have come out, like the Raven RV05, those two Lian Li mid-towers and, now, the Steam Castle from Deepcool.

Don't start thinking about Steam games or Valve's Steam OS though. The reason that the newcomer is called that is because it's designed in the Steampunk style. You know, that post-modern style involving, well, steam engines, knobs, sprockets and various other mechanical parts.

Just check out the top panel of the Steam Castle: it's got four awesome fan vents. And the front panel has a pair of vertical vents too, plus a horizontal one near the top.

Another unusual thing about the newcomer is that the motherboard tray is horizontal. It lets you install even the biggest CPU fans easily.

Speaking of the insides, there's room for graphics cards of up to 320 mm / 12.59 inches in length, 200 mm-tall air cooling (7.87 inches), and 240 mm-tall liquid cooling (9.44 inches). You even get a pair of grommets at the back, for external water cooling systems.

Other cool things include rubber painting, four USB ports (2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0), tool-free HDD/SSD installation (3.5 / 2/5-inch), and two independent 2.5-inch bays for SSD RAID.

Sales of the two-layer Deepcool Steam Castle chassis will start in July for $119.99 / € 88.99.
