Coolers always seem to be coming out, so it's not a shock to learn of the one that DeepCool is preparing.

The support list might be surprising though, because it's not often that cooling modules work for chips from two or more generations back.

Then again, the Ice Blade 200M is supposed to be a low-cost cooler, so compatibility with cheap, older-generation chips is kind of required.

Sadly, the price isn't known, so I can't say how real the “low-cost” claim is.

Spec-wise, the cooler has two 92mm Hydro bearing fans (900 to 2,200 RPM, 17.8 ~ 30.1dBA noise), an aluminum heatsink, and two direct touch 8 mm copper heatpipes.

Altogether, the DeepCool Ice Blade 200M measures 103 x 94 x 135 mm, 4.05 x 3.7 x 5.31 inches and weighs 343 grams, 0.75 pounds.

The full socket support list is this: to Intel AMD Socket FM2, FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, 940, 939, 754, and Intel LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150 and LGA775.
