This is one of those things that you won't find anywhere except in hardcore computers

Companies might try to find ways around it, but even now the effectiveness of CPU coolers depends on the size and design of the heatsink. A great deal too.

That's why only the biggest and baddest of gaming systems use things like the newly released DeepCool GamerStorm Lucifer: other cases don't have enough room inside.

The new cooler measures 140 x 110 x 163 mm / 5.51 x 4.33 x 6.41 inches and gets 26 mm thicker (1.02 inches) when the fan is applied.

The weight of the whole thing is an unmerciful 1,097 grams / 2.41 pounds, held up only by a mirror-finished nickel-plated copper base and six 6 mm-thick heatpipes made of the same material combination.

The 140 mm fan has a rotary speed of 700 to 1,400 RPM (rotations per minute) and a top airflow of 81.33 CFM. Sadly, the price is unknown.
