The development team at Capcom working on the PlayStation 4 based Deep Down action role playing game are saying that the title will not include any players created female characters for reasons that are tied to the core narrative.

Kazunori Sugiura, a producer working on the title, is quoted by DualShockers as explaining that his company has created a complex story that gamers will be able to explore.

He was not willing to offer any more details on the reasons why players will not created female characters.

The Capcom developers also says that Remote Play will be supported in Deep Down on the PlayStation Vita.

The spear, the sword and shield, the greatsword and a mysterious weapon will be the choices offered to the player when they launch Deep Down, with different gameplay mechanics linked to each.

Deep Down is set to be launched this year on the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
