Video game publisher Capcom announces that its previously teased Deep Down is set to offer an online-only game on the PlayStation 4.

Limited detail is offered on the kind of experience that the game will deliver, but it seems that Capcom is planning to mix elements taken from Monster Hunter with some mechanics from Dragon’s Dogma.

The title will use the new Pantha Rhei engine, which is specifically designed to take advantage of the new features offered by the PlayStation 4.

The first official details of Deep Down will be offered during the upcoming Tokyo Games Show event, which will take place in September.

The URL of the official site also seems to suggest that the game will be launched on the PC as well but Capcom is not yet talking about the possibility of cross-platform play.
