Capcom has confirmed that Deep Down, its upcoming medieval RPG, couldn't be done on the PS3, as it fully uses the PS4's power.

The title was initially revealed as a standard fantasy role-playing game, allowing players to control warriors who explored dungeons and caves to fight monsters. It was then revealed that the main story was actually a futuristic one, with another side to its plot.

Now, producer Kazunori Sugiura has talked with Dengeki Online, via DualShockers, and revealed that the new game uses all of the PS4's power, so it couldn't be done on the PS3.

What's more, he has also confirmed that the title will be fully detailed this summer, so PS4 owners shouldn't expect any big announcements before then.

Meanwhile, however, new info could still appear from various sources about the free-to-play RPG.
