Debbie Rowe has once again and for the last time “sold” her children, a new report says, having signed off her parental rights to Katherine Jackson in exchange for a check of $4 million. The two initially met to talk keeping Michael’s three children away from their grandfather, Joe, and eventually ended by agreeing Rowe was better off away from them, PageSix says.

The deal, albeit not to the liking of the rest of the Jackson clan because of the hefty amount involved, has already been put on paper and signed, sources are telling the New York Post for the PageSix column. It was a necessary move Katherine Jackson had to make to ensure Michael’s will of her having full custody of his three children would be respected. It was also a move meant to keep Joe Jackson away from the kids, since Michael, who had willingly excluded him from his will, would not have wanted him in their life.

“Michael Jackson’s baby mama Debbie Rowe has sold her kids again – this time squeezing about $4 million from her former mother-in-law in exchange for giving up her parental rights, a family source told The Post yesterday. ‘It’s one final payday,’ the disgusted Jackson confidant said. The family isn’t happy about the mega-payout – which was set to be sealed in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon – but they consider it a necessary evil, the source said. ‘They felt it was like a ransom-type thing. [Rowe] jumped back into the picture because she wanted money,’ the friend said.” PageSix writes in a recent post.

As we also reported yesterday, Rowe and Katherine Jackson met over the weekend to discuss whether they could reach an agreement as to the custody of the three children. While neither woman could see eye to eye with the other, both realized settling the matter outside the court of law would have been in the best interest of the kids, while also helping them come up with some sort of “strategy” to keep Joe away from them, it was said at the time.

The first hearing in the custody trial for Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Blanket has been moved from July 13 to July 20, so that all parties involved have plenty of time for whatever arrangements and settlements they see fit. If, indeed, Rowe has signed off parental rights once more, it will probably be confirmed at that time.
