Christopher Robinson has evaded payments for three years

A 23-year-old father of one refusing to pay child support for his three-year-old took a photo of himself rolling around in cash and posted it on Facebook.

The image, relayed by NY Daily News, has prompted an arrest in the deadbeat dad's case. Although only small bills can be seen next to him, authorities believe that he might have lied about his financial means.

Christopher Robinson has failed to make three years’ worth of $150 (€115) monthly payments. Snubbing authorities once more, he didn't show up in court for his hearing, even as the felony charges against him could bring him an 11-year maximum sentence.

"What a photograph enables us to do, is if somebody has more money than maybe they are indicating they do," Milwaukee County prosecutor Kent Lovern explains.

[Update, March 25 2013]: A previous version of this blog article mentioned that the suspect has been captured on camera while surrounded by $20 (€15) bills. As one of our readers points out, several small bills can be seen in the photo.
