Japanese publisher Tecmo Koei has announced that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles sometime in early 2015.

The news comes from Game Producer Yosuke Hayashi, who revealed the new version of the video at Japan Gamer's Live event. The updated edition of the popular fighting game includes some classic characters making a return, as is the case of Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden video game series.

The original Dead or Alive 5 was released back in 2012, for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system from Sony and the Xbox 360 home console from Microsoft, followed by the updated Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate version in 2013, as well as the PlayStation Vita port, dubbed Dead or Alive 5 Plus.

The latest edition of Team Ninja's fighting game is scheduled to arrive in Japan in the spring of 2015, with no word regarding the title's release in Europe or North America, for the time being.

There is also no further information regarding Last Round, apart from the announcement trailer below, and the fact that there will be a strong presence of busty female characters in skimpy outfits, with a lot of high-tech jiggling action.
