Dead or Alive 5, the next installment in the popular fighting game franchise, has a special training mode that will allow those who aren’t that accustomed to the series to try out their favorite characters and slowly learn the best tactics.

The Dead or Alive franchise, developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo Koei, has impressed a wide variety of players over the years by delivering a special fighting experience focused on entertainment.

With the upcoming fifth installment, the series wants to take that focus to new heights and promises to deliver changing environments that will affect the actual fighters.

In order to ease new players into the experience, the game also has a special Training mode, which, according to Tecmo Koei, offers all sorts of options in order to teach people the mechanics of the game.

“Dead or Alive 5 also includes an improved Training Mode that lets players control more features than the any previous Dead or Alive game. A wealth of options are now available on the settings screen for players to adjust the AI opponent's behavior, such as input recording, recovery time from staggers and more,” the company said.

What’s more, optional missions during the game’s story mode also focus on the basic mechanics of the game and slowly ramp up the complexity.

“Players will have the ability to practice and improve their Dead or Alive skills for any scenario. There are also optional missions during Story mode battles to teach players everything from basic controls to advanced fighting techniques!”

Dead or Alive 5 is already available for pre-order all over the world, in the form of a regular version and a special Collector’s Edition. Special bonuses, like bikini costumes for the female fighters are also available to those who pre-purchase.

The game is set to appear on September 25, in North America, and September 28, in Europe, for PS3 and Xbox 360.
