One of the most popular zombie shooters available on mobile platforms, Dead Trigger 2 has just received the highly anticipated Arena of Death update which adds a new mode that pits players against countless waves of zombies.

Android users can now play the new Arena of Death mode and rip the rewards by earning cash and various prizes the longer they survive.

Players who enter the Arena of Death will have a wide array of traps and random boosts and power-ups at their disposal, which will help them survive a while longer.

For example, Android players will be able to build ejecting traps that will kill zombies by hilariously catapulting their rotten bodies high into the air.

Win more cash and score higher by killing zombies in a variety of gruesome ways in order to amuse the bloodthirsty audience. The boosts and power-ups that we have mentioned earlier appear as “lucky boxes” and increase damage, speeds or other stats.

Each time you play in Arena mode, your score will be noted in Leaderboard, so you can compare it with those of your friends and challenge them to perform better.

But this is not the only new content added via update 0.5.0. According to Madfinger Games, Dead Trigger players should expect to encounter new Zombies, such as the construction worker, the prostitute and the nurse.

A new city, along with dam reservoir environments will also be available to Android players as soon as they update to the latest version of the game.

Existing players who already have the game installed on their devices should know that the new update has been pushed to Google Play Store, but it’s rolled out in waves, so it might take a while to reach all players.

However, new players can now download Dead Trigger 2 for Android 0.5.0 for free via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

On a side note, Dead Trigger 2 has recently been launched as a Facebook game, so Android and iOS players who wish to experience the zombie shooter on larger screens may want to give it a try.

It is also worth mentioning that Madfinger Games’ Dead Trigger 2 was tweaked to support MOGA controllers for a better gameplay experience. Obviously, you can also play the game using a touch control scheme, which was especially created for more casual players.
