With more than 100k downloads in the Google Play store, Dead Space for Android has just been updated with support for Nexus 7.

Starting today, Android enthusiasts, lucky enough to get their hands on the first device to come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, will be able to play EA’s highly acclaimed Dead Space game on their tablets.

This seems to be the only change included in the latest update, but we suspect the game will also run smoothly on any smartphone or tablet powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform.

Dead Space 1.1.39 is now available for download via Google Play store for only $6.99 USD, and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
