The PC version of Dead Space 3 will be a direct port of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game, as developer Visceral Games has confirmed that no additional features or options have been added to it.

Dead Space 3 is out at the beginning of next month and a demo is now available across the PS3 or Xbox 360 platforms.

While the game is looking pretty good, fans are already worrying over the addition of the co-op mode and the fact that micro-transactions play a role in its crafting mechanic.

Now, Visceral has told Games.on.net that the PC version of the game won't have any special features, as it's just a direct port of the console editions of the game.

Players will be able to toggle a few custom graphics options, but there won't be any support for things like DirectX 11 or high-resolution textures.

Dead Space 3 is set to appear on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on February 5, in North America, and February 8, in Europe and the rest of the world.
