Dead Space 3 on the Xbox 360 will support voice controls as EA and Visceral Games have confirmed that the game will use the Kinect sensor to allow players to actually make their voices heard in the game.

Dead Space 3 promises to once again deliver an intense story experience, but this time around players can go through it alone, like they did in previous titles, or with a friend, thanks to the new cooperative mode.

What's more, the game will take advantage of the Kinect sensor on the Xbox 360, as EA and Visceral have just confirmed that players can use voice commands in the game.

"The all-new Kinect functionality further immerses players into the Dead Space universe by allowing players to use simple voice commands to help a friend from the onslaught of horrors and thrills that awaits them in this spine-tingling new adventure. Dead Space 3 featuring Kinect will make it easier for co-op partners to give each other health or ammo, find objectives, revive one another and more," the companies said in an official statement.

Dead Space 3 will be released on February 5, in North America, and February 8, in Europe, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
