14 DAY TRIAL // Publisher Electronic Arts reveals that players who pre-order the upcoming Dead Space 3 from Amazon will be able to get access to the unique Enervator weapon while those who get the game before launch from GameStop get access to the EG-900 SMG.
The official description for the first weapon reads, according to CVG: “Sovereign Colonies scientists developed the Enervator from an overdriven focus coil to ‘humanely’ eliminate dangerous specimens. The Enervator delivers a precision blast causing instantaneous electrocution and molecular destabilization in the target. In test subjects, death was instantaneous.”
The EG-900 SMG is an urban warfare special weapon designed to deliver maximum damage.
Those who pre-order are also upgraded to the Limited Edition of the game, which includes more bonus weapons and armor.
Dead Space 3 will be out on February 5 in the United States and three days later in Europe on the PC and home consoles.
