New story-based expansion will arrive in March and costs $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points

Dead Space 3 is just being released in North America today, February 5, and already publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed that a story-based downloadable add-on will be released next month, called Awakened.

Dead Space 3 is out today in North America and hits other territories like Europe and the rest of the world later this week.

Even so, EA is wasting no time and has already confirmed, via CVG, that the first actual DLC for Dead Space 3 is going to appear in March.

The add-on, called Awakened, promises to deliver new story-based content that will let players "experience the franchise's darkest chapters as the Necromorph battles become even more gruesome and terrifying than ever before."

Dead Space 3: Awakened DLC will come out next month and is going to be priced at $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
