Dead Space 2 PC players have started a brand new petition so that Electronic Arts might add some of the features seen in console editions of the horror game, including downloadable content and the elite suits that aren't present in the New Game+ mode.

Dead Space 2 has been out on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for almost three weeks, and players were extremely thrilled by the experience delivered by Visceral Games and EA.

Sadly for the PC owners, things haven't exactly been all that great, as after finishing the regular game and starting a New Game+ mode, they found that the promised rewards, like elite versions of suits for hero Isaac Clarke and other such things weren't present.

When you finish Dead Space 2 for the first time, it urges you to start a New Game+ mode, which will allow you to earn unique versions of the suits seen in the regular campaign by finding the schematics throughout the story.

While this is possible on consoles like the PS3 or Xbox 360, the PC edition doesn't seem to have those schematics, meaning players aren't rewarded for anything if they play the title once more.

Also, seeing as how the Severed downloadable content was already announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360, PC owners are seemingly once again left on the outside of these bonus features.

As such, they have already started a petition, where they ask EA to deliver equal features to the PC.

"The paying customers of Dead Space 2 humbly request for Visceral Games and Electronic Arts to give the PC version of Dead Space 2 equal features as the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 versions of the game," the petition reads.

"This includes: Downloadable Content, Elite Suits in the New Game + mode, Patches to the games bugs."

The petition already has over 3,000 signatures, and EA says that it is looking into the missing elite suits.

A formal announcement about a patch or the availability of the DLC on the PC hasn't appeared, however.
