Capcom has released the launch trailer for its survival action adventure video game Dead Rising 3, reminding fans that the title is making its way to PC today.

The open-world survival horror video game was released as a launch title for the Xbox One computer entertainment system from Microsoft, on November 22, 2013.

The game was praised for its silliness and immense replay value, and was liked by both critics and gamers, leading to it selling well over 1 million copies. The action takes place in the city of Los Perdidos, in the wake of a zombie apocalypse, and features over-the-top action and a creative weapon crafting system that allows players to fashion weapons out of pretty much everything.

PC gamers are now getting Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, which includes the base game as well as the four Untold Stories of Los Perdidos, which were subsequently released as episodic DLC.

In addition to breaking the shackles of platform exclusivity, the third-person action game will also break the bounds of 30 frames per second, running in full 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second on PC.

In case you're wondering what kind of rig you're going to need in order to properly enjoy Capcom's zombie-infused apocalyptic adventure, you can head over to the Dead Rising 3 Steam page.
