The exclusive game is getting optimized by Capcom right now

Dead Rising 3 has entered the optimization stage and the framerate is being upgraded with every new build, according to Capcom, as the company wants to alleviate all the worries of fans concerning the game's performance on the Xbox One.

Capcom and Microsoft are working hard on bringing Dead Rising 3 to the Xbox One next-gen console but, judging by recent impressions and demonstrations, quite a few fans spotted slowdowns and an erratic framerate, leading to much concern about the game's performance.

Capcom's Mike Thompson believes fans shouldn't worry about the game's framerate, as the Vancouver team, alongside Microsoft, is working hard on optimizing the game.

"That’s the last thing you do, once it’s complete and you have all the world built, all the missions built and everything in there, then you start optimizing, Then you start getting the frame rate up there, getting the performance up there," he told Capsule Computers.

Thompson then noted the major improvements seen in the Tokyo Games Show 2013 build of the game, as opposed to the Gamescom 2013 one that was showcased back in August.

"Listen to me when I tell you that we’re still working on it. That build is weeks old, and we have guys in Vancouver right now who are staying up until 3am to solve that problem. We are also working on new hardware, with a new SDK, as a day one launch title; a lot of people don’t understand the balance in this."

According to the Capcom Vancouver executive, Dead Rising 3 on the Xbox One required a lot of hard work and, considering the next-gen Xbox One was constantly changing during development, these problems ahead of launch were inevitable.

"We re-wrote our entire engine for Xbox One, and then we were getting new development [things], and new information about the hardware, and we were working with Microsoft trying to optimize everything and it is insane what our development team has been able to do. We’ve just been thrilled working with Microsoft and how our team has risen to the challenge to make the biggest, most ambitious Dead Rising yet."

Dead Rising 3 launches alongside the Xbox One on November 22 in 13 countries around the world.
