The latest patch is causing issues, but a workaround is available

Dead Rising 3 developer Capcom Vancouver has acknowledged recent issues encountered by Xbox One owners after installing the latest update for the game, and it has just revealed a workaround until a fresh patch appears.

Dead Rising launched alongside the Xbox One last month in 13 countries around the world and Capcom Vancouver, the developer of the zombie game, has already rolled out a few updates for the popular game.

The latest patch, however, has apparently caused some issues when loading save game files and other such things.

Until a new update appears, a workaround solution has just been posted by the studio on its Facebook page.

"If anyone is having trouble with the latest Dead Rising 3 update try deleting the game install and then reinstalling the update. When the Xbox One tells you it's ready to play WAIT until the update has downloaded 100% and then give it a try."

As of yet, it's unclear if this workaround has made any difference, as players are still complaining about issues.
