Capcom has just confirmed that its smash hit Dead Rising 3, an exclusive launch title for Xbox One, will be available for PC sometime this summer.

Fans of the franchise will be pleased to know that the game will be available as digital download on Steam globally and as retail version in Europe.

According to the developers, the PC version of Dead Rising 3 will feature high resolutions with fully optimized visuals for the wide screen, upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.

Here is something for badge collectors and achievement hunters, as Capcom has also confirmed that Dead Rising 3 for PC will include Steam platform support with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Steam Trading Cards.

In addition, global leaderboards and full game controller support will be included as well, but the game will also be compatible with the keyboard and mouse, so players can toggle back and forth between the two in real time.

However, Capcom is still mum on the exact release date for Dead Rising 3 for PC. It will also be interesting to know if the game will come with DLC or not. More details on the launch of the game will be shared by the devs at E3, so stay tuned for more.
