Dead Island: Riptide is eagerly awaited by the millions of players who experience the first title in the series.
Ahead of its release next week, the game is now available for pre-load via Steam for the PC platform, meaning those who pre-ordered the game can already download its files.
Sadly, according to several Steam users on the game's forums, the pre-load is glitched, as the download ends right after it begins, without actually transferring any files.
As of yet, neither developer Techland nor publisher Deep Silver has actually commented on the problem that seems to be affecting Steam preloads.
