DeVeDe, an authoring software with accessible options to create Video DVDs and CDs (VCD, sVCD or CVD), suitable for home players, is now at version 3.22.0.

DeVeDe 3.22.0 comes with some important modifications and a couple of new features, but there is nothing that stands out.

Highlights of DeVeDe 3.22.0:

• Users can choose which coder to use for videos and which for menus; • Users can choose whether to use hyperthreading or not; • Set audio bitrate in menus to 192Kbps, and video bitrate to 2500Kbps; • Graceful degradation takes place when the locale is unknown; • Setup.py as an installation method has been added; • A bug when creating a DVD with more than one page in its menu has been fixed; • FFMpeg is the default backend.

Users can download DeVeDe 3.22.0 right now from Softpedia or they can check the review we did on a previous version.
