If we have any true fans of the “Back to Future” series in the audience, then the DeLorean time machine will certainly bring up some nice memories, nice-enough for them to feel really nostalgic and perhaps cough up the cash in order to get themselves a device that, beside being a perfect replica of the aforementioned movie prop, will allow them to store their precious photos and videos.

So, what we're talking about here is the DeLorean Time Machine Hard Drive developed by FlashRods, a company specialized in creating one of a kind external storage solutions that look just like toy cars on the outside, but also pack HDDs or flash modules on the inside.

After years of making "flash drive cars", in 2009, the company began hand made production these car replicas, and also built the first 1:18 scale car with an integrated hard drive, the Nissan GT-R.

We'll have to admit that the manufacturers went to great lengths in order to make this thing as realistic as possible, the DeLorean HDD featuring an opening hood, as well as the trademark gull wing doors (also opening).

In order to keep things as close as possible to the original DeLorean presented in the “Back to the Future” series, the device also sports 50's style moon discs, as well as the also famous “Mr. Fusion” reactor, installed after professor's “Doc” Brown first visit to the future.

Unfortunately, the DeLorean Time Machine Hard Drive only comes equipped with a 500GB Seagate HDD and an USB 2.0 connector (we hoped for an USB 3.0), which is kind of a shame, really, giving the fact that the aforementioned vehicle was, after all, a masterpiece of technology at the time.

Now, as we pretty much expected, FlashRods is charging quite a hefty sum for the DeLorean Time Machine Hard Drive, this thing selling for around 250 US dollars, a lot more than anyone would normally pay for 500GB worth of external storage space.
