Enhanced productivity management software

Just before passing into the new year, MarketCircle released an update for its Daylite productivity manager, bringing the current version number up to 3.2.1. The new version claims to be faster, have an updated Openbase database engine, improved data import and export to Billings 2 and, of course, a number of bug fixes.

Before I tell you about the prices, I think that checking this program's features is the best thing to do, so let's see what do we have here... Business is about staying on track when working for your clients and deliver on time, but it's much more than just these. Daylite can help you use shared calendars, create simple projects, manage your contacts and take full advantage of its email integration features.

The activity management features include reminders, activity sets, appointments, tasks and subtasks, file linking to multiple projects, customizable views for the calendar and more, while the contact management features are a real pleasure to use, and the ability to sync your contacts list with Palm devices and the Mac OS X Address Book is not something you would like to miss.

Finally, we have the project and opportunity management features, advanced import and export capabilities, as well as the ability to share every database entry, but you don't have to worry about errors, since the administrator can easily restrict the database creation & synchronization and lock certain records.

Daylite 3 comes as a Universal Binary file, so it will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and existing users can upgrade for 79$ per seat, while new ones have to pay 149$ per seat. At last, registered Daylite 3 users get the best out of this deal, because they can upgrade to 3.2.1 for free!
