Daylite is a business productivity manager designed to help users manage their business and their team. Existing users of Marketcircle’s productivity suite should find it useful to know that there’s a free update to download and install on their Macs, enabling their copy of the software to merge iWork 09 documents, among numerous other enhancements.

“We’ve released Daylite 3.9.3, which includes support for document merging with Apple’s iWork ‘09,” Alykhan Jetha, CEO, Marketcircle, happily announced. “We’ve also enhanced the way the Daylite Touch sync list works, and made some other small improvements,” he added.

Those enhancements include: the ability to set whether or not new contacts or organizations are added to the “Daylite Touch” sync list (this is also accessible through the Default Values preference pane); the ability to add or remove contacts or organizations in the Touch list via the bulk edit card, and more options for selecting a due date in the task list popup selector.

On a more detailed note, Marketcircle lists the following changes with Daylite 3.9.3:

– Added support for iWork '09 document merging.
– Added more options for selecting a due date in the task list popup selector.
– Ability to set whether or not new contacts or organizations are added to the “Daylite Touch” sync list. This is also accessible through the Default Values preference pane.

– Enhanced error dialogues to provide the error number and reference link to the knowledge base article when available.
– Daylite will now ask if you wish to use a DMI license for offline use when creating a new offline database.

Those using Daylite Server must make sure they download version 3.9.3 as well. On the Server side, Marketcircle enhanced error dialogues to provide the error number and reference link to the knowledge base article when available. For the Daylite Migrator, the company enhanced how user authentication was handled.
